I went to Doctor Karp seeking a new doctor out here in LA. I have a dense medical history that I arrived with to share with him, and typically when I share my major records with doctors they have a tremendous amount of questions. They often seek clarification on all the matters that occurred alongside what has transpired since then to stay in the loop past the shared records. Doctor Karp did none of this and simply said "USC will take care of you". I carried on past my medical past to some current issues and Dr. Karp proceeded to merely stare and type notes-asking me zero questions about my issues. I felt completely unheard and cared for and after going through my deep history (for which I require a solid cardiologist), he gave me a piece of paper with every department in USC and circled cardiology and said to give them a call. He had no recommendations and left me to continue in what was already an initially blind process with a new doctor for the first (and last) time.
