Dr. Michael Johnson, MD

My husband and I visited the Unity Point Prompt Care because my husband was feeling nauseous and had cold sweats. While we were there, he collapsed in the bathroom and had no pulse. Dr. Johnson brought him back to life and we are forever thankful for his quick response and excellent skill. Without Dr Johnson I would not be sitting next to my husband right now. Forever grateful.

Very rude, dismissive and brief. Saw him at urgent care and he said my concern was not urgent and asked why I hadn’t gone to see my primary provider instead. Not only was this rude, but it was odd considering that I had called before coming in and described my issue and was told that it was something they could see me for. He saw me for less than 5 minutes and basically told me that nothing was wrong with me and that my ailments were merely a “coincidence”. He did not address my concerns with care or thoroughness; I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Johnson saw my son recently for a sinus infection and flu like symptoms. He was very thorough in the examination, explaining as he went along what he was finding. He gave great advice on how to manage the symptoms, take the medication and when to expect to see improvement. Very courteous. Would return to see him again.
