Great and caring surgeon
Hip replacement on my father in-laws hip at 93 years old. All went well and after a few months he is walking on his own without assistance (cane, walker).Could not ask for more, thank you Doctor Hooker!

Dr. Hooker is as good as it gets!
He spends as much time with each patient as time allows. His schedule is full now so he is no longer accepting new patients. I understand why he's so popular. He's kind, patient, considerate, and explains things. He doesn't just throw information at you and walk away. If you don't understand something then it's because you didn't ask! He has an extensive and impressive resume plus he's won a lot of awards. He has years of experience. He has even served his country in the Army. And as of today, he's in The Waiting Room Magazine listed as the Top Orthopedic Surgeon in Maryland! I am so proud of him and honored to have a man of this caliber on my medical team. I am humbled by him. Berlin, Atlantic General Hospital, and his patients are truly blessed to have this extraordinarily talented man to call their own. Don't waste the blessing if you are a patient of his! You don't know how truly lucky you are!

My personal experience with Dr. Hooker was excellent. I broke my arm went to Mary Immaculate Hospital where all they did was sling my arm and sent me home. A medical tech (my nephew) sent my e-ray to Dr. Hooker who did emergency surgery the very next day. Saved my life.

Dr. Hooker did an excellent job for my recent hip replacement surgery. He was very professional, caring, and supportive of all my concerns. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hooker. I'm feeling better than I have in months!

i had hooker as a surgeon to do y arm it got infected by him and the more i complained about it he did not believe me and i had the infection in me for 1.5 years before it was found and treated had more surgeries because of his in compliance in surgery would not recommence him to any one

Dr. Hooker is a fantastic doctor, He is very kind, caring, listens and explains things and an excellent surgeon. He is by far the best orthopedic doctor I have ever been to.
