Dr. Michael Holzman, MD

Many people who are the best in their field tend to be aloof or even arrogant. Dr. Hotzman is clearly the best surgeon around and is the most down-to-earth doctor I've ever met. He explains things in a way that you can understand. He genuinely wants to help you. I had a combination of procedures that most doctors would have walked away from. Not only did he solve the problems, he did so graciously and helpful. It's too bad there are only five stars here . . . Dr. Holzman deserves at least ten!

Dr. Holzman was one of the nicest doctors that I have ever met. He was very personable and seemed genuinely interested in me as a person and a patient. He came across as very experienced and dedicated.

My husband and I drove to Nashville yesterday to meet with Dr. Holzman. He was very down-to-earth, and a great listener. He laid out several options, and hopefully he will correct my hiatal hernia issue. I am competent in his abilities. My favorite assistant-nurse was Jerri.

Dr. Holzman is the best surgeon that I’ve ever had. I had a left side hernia the initial visit Dr. Holzman and all the nurses and staff were very polite, courteous and caring. He spent lots of time explaining my condition and put together an excellent plan for my care which required surgery which was scheduled quickly. Dr. Holzman kept me and my wife informed every step of the way. The care plan he made was better than excellent. The day after my surgery I was a little sore but I’ve had worse toothaches . My wife loved the fact that after he completed surgery he personally came down and spoke with my wife. Long story short, if me or any of my family needs a surgeon Dr. Holzman will be the first one I call.!

I had a hernia repair performed by Dr. Holzman. I have had 2 hernia surgeries before and this was by far the best one yet. It was quick and with minimal pain. Dr. Holzman was very good at discussing the procedure before and the day of the operation. He insured I was fully informed of what was going to happen and any potential problems that could occur. Everything went according to plan and I am almost back to my normal routines after only 4 weeks. I highly recommend Dr Holzman.

Dr. Holzman and staff are super! The workflow in the office is very good, and the coordination of processes from scheduling to post surgery is great. Dr. Holzman listens! He took his time to become well informed of my particular situation, and then took his time explaining his recommendations and alternatives. He was also very clear on the risks of the different types of surgery. I was very confident and positive going into my surgery.
