Dr. Michael Henderson, MD

It's hard to find a Dr you like, and he is AWESOME. BUT..... I have an appointment scheduled since November, and they called me Friday to tell me he is no longer with Austin Heart, so I am searching for him

My first time visit and it was a great one. He explained everything and was very thorough and I would recommend him.

Dr. Henderson is such a wonderful human being. His positivity makes us all want to be better people and live more productive lives. He is the rare mix of reality and positivity. No matter how sick, we can all contribute. Dr. Henderson truly shines at bringing out our best in difficult times in our lives! Thank you Sir!

I do not throw around Five Star Ratings at whim. Dr. Henderson was a breath of fresh air compared to my Primary Care Doctor who seems more intent on plugging entries into his IPad then listening to me. Dr. Henderson sat down and took the time to hear what is going on with me. I was particularly impressed when he knew the number of "events" the monitor I wore for a week over a year ago when I was not even his patient. Dr. Henderson has a great "bedside" manner. Great job!!!!

Since 1999 - I've been under the care of numerous Cardiologist(s) - with Austin Heart, Seton, and Scott & White. Dr Michael Henderson is by far the distant best - not only in heart related matters - but equally his unique gift of listening and communicating with the patient. Being able to patiently explain complex issues with the patient is a skill and benefit that most Doctor's just don't possess. Not the case with Dr Henderson. With no exaggeration - I'd highly recommend Dr Michael Henderson to anyone in Central Texas seeking heart related matters as your primary Cardiologist - and that includes 2nd opinions that people often times are seeking.

If you are looking for a heart health provider that has experience, background, compassion, good bedside manner, look no further. Dr. Henderson’s only concern is the wellbeing of his customer. He knows his stuff and makes you understand... I am alive with a new valve because of his diagnostic skills!

Dr. Henderson is patient, through, and never is in a hurry to rush you out. He is an awesome doctor. They call your name so fast that if you have paperwork you have to finish it in the room. Great office staff.
