Most amazing surgeon!
I was away on vacation in Jamaica and got into a bike accident. As it turns out, I broke my left hip and needed an emergency total hip replacement.Dr. Held had the most amazing bedside manner and did the most wonderful hip replacement. It’s a week and I’m already walking,

Rude obnoxious lousy human being
Refused to treat an 80 year-old woman in a wheelchair! I only hope that when he is old and infirm, his doctors treat him with the same disgust and disdain that he showed my mother. His staff, who he praised, was equally rude slamming the door when leaving the room! Disgusting human being!

Excellent surgeon
During my 1st appointment with Dr. Held, I felt that I was in very capable hands. He did not pressure me to schedule surgery. He educated me, offered some options & answered all of my questions. I did ultimately have hip replacement surgery a few months later. From my initial consultation to post-operative follow up, Dr. Held is incredibly attentive and reassuring. His clinical & surgical experience, expertise, kindness, thoroughness & compassion are 2nd to none. In addition, Dr. Held’s team at ONS is professional, knowledgeable and caring. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Held if you need a joint replacement.

Confident diagnosis
I greatly appreciated Dr. Held’s ability to inspect my x-ray and draw a diagnosis from it that the urgent care physician was not able to see. His treatment has been quite effective and I’m looking forward to complete healing.
