Too bad NO stars isn’t an option
Heed the other reviews about him being arrogant, pompous, and having a God complex; they’re not wrong! Attempting to communicate with an ego this large is futile. I would never trust him for medical care. I’d recommend him if you’re interested in becoming proficient in medical gaslighting and/or you don’t value your health.

Terrible, zero stars but had to rate
His continuously pushed away treatment for our mom. She has since declined and has numerous problems, all because he would not order some simple testing that would have found her issues early on and possibly avoided her current nonrecoverable health issues. (She had stomach pain and he never ordered any tests. Shortly after, she had suffered intestinal perforation and she went septic, hence having numerous health issues) My dad, currently, has health issues that were ignored as well. Ordering simple tests at the time of his appt would have given him early treatment to his ongoing issues as well. (After his appt, my dad was admitted to the hospital with a partially collapsed lung that was full of more than 2L of fluid, none of which was ever found at his appt bc he did not order any testing or imaging. He did not even hear that he had no air going into his lung) He is not a thorough doctor and doesn't take the time to assess a situation before he sends you out the door.

I’ve been dealing with Dr. Heiss for two decades and have had nothing but good experiences. AND during a “routine” check-up 8 yrs ago he heard something while listening to my heart and SAVED MY LIFE!
