Dr. Michael Gumuka, MD

I went in a few years ago to establish care with a new physician. I had to leave my last one of many years due to a change in insurance. I tried having a conversation but he was very curt, disinterested, unfriendly and just seemed like he thought he was better than everyone. When I mentioned I had an issue in my head and thought it was my sinuses, then asked for a referral to an ENT, he later gave me a referral to a neurologist. I was certain my issue was sinus related but he still insisted I see the neurologist. Because of my experience, I tried to make an appointment at the same facility with another doctor for a second opinion. The new doctor wouldn’t see me because Dr. Gamuka told them I was being difficult then Dr. Gamuka refused to see me anymore, essentially blacklisting me from the facility. (By the way, I later saw an ENT and it was my sinuses.)

dug into my past "looking" for any problem with a past doctor. Found one from five years before (which was not anything that was my fault). Had me thrown out immediately for no reason at all. Merely for talking about a past problem (where I could not get treatment for an illness). Dug it out of me. I did not go in there looking to cause any problem. Minding my own business trying to get yearly physical. First time in 60 years any doctor every did this. Don't even know another person who had this happen. Its positively evil. Bad enough I couldn't get treated for an illness at the other place five years before but not just for mentioning it you get thrown out and I wasn't bringing it up. He and his nurse went "looking" and "digging" for any past problems. Doesn't belong in the medical profession. In for the money only.

Calm, careful, caring manner. Listened attentively and then made a careful assessment and diagnosis. Felt in good hands with "Dr Mike"

I was vacationing on Big Moose Lake when I experienced a UTI with a possible kidney infection. It was recommended that I go to the Warrensburg Health Center in Warrensburg, NY, rather than to Utica, which was closer. Glad I did. Very positive experience on all levels. Was seen by "Dr. Mike" (Dr. Michael T. Gumuka). Very calm, reassuring manner. Listened while I explained my symptoms. Examined me. Prescribed meds. He also talked to my Cardiologist in Texas regarding another issue.

Saw me on an urgency/emergency visit as a vacationer from N.J. and had calm bedside manner. Asked questions, took and assessed vitals and was logical in his conclusion and tentative diagnosis. Took urine for analysis and called in three days with results and probable diagnosis. Contacted my urologist/specialist in N.J. who took over. BTW within less than 24 hours and on RX given problem disappeared. The whole facility in Warrensburg is both clean and professional in it's staff. Highly recommend.
