Dr. Guese is an excellent, caring physician. He takes his time during each visit and genuinely cares about his patients. He is easy to talk to and has a great bedside manner. I have been a patient of Dr. Guese’s for over 20 years and I will be devastated when he retires. He is knowledgeable and, unlike many doctors these days, has incredible common sense. If you’re looking for a new primary care doctor, Dr. Guese is a great option.

My longtime PCP
Dr Guese has been my primary care for 36 years. he also treated my aunt and mother for a very long time. i have never had reason to find another dr as he has always addressed all of my health needs. he has had a nurse a few years ago that was not responsive but she is gone so all is well now. When my mother passed away he wrote and sent me a handwritten letter of condolences. That is his level of compassion.

I do not recommend this doctor. He did not take concerns seriously and didn't call back when I went through something serious. I felt completely unsupported. He also forgot [didn't even had it in the chart] a very important dietary factor that impacted a diagnosis that ended up happening at the hospital, when people finally took me seriously. I prefer a doctor who's a little more laid back, but he acts like he doesn't even care. During my 3 years with him as my PCP I needed his help twice and twice I was insanely disappointed at his lack of care and urgency when time demanded it. Find yourself a better doctor.

Dr. Guese has been my personal physician for 35 years. I have stayed with him for several reasons. First, he listens and responds to my issues and concerns. Second, he is very much an excellent internal medicine doctor and will refer gladly when necessary. I recommend him with no reservations.

Dr. Guese is not a very good doctor. On our first meeting together he stared at his phone the ENTIRE time when I was describing him my symptoms and what was going on with me. He wouldn't even make eye contact. I told him that the antidepressants that I am taking were causing severe tinnitus, and he basically laughed it off and said that if the pills weren't making me depressed than it's something I just have to deal with. He also just tried pushing more prescription medication at me when I made it clear going on more drugs is the last resort I want to take. He wrote my prescription wrong so that I had to wait a week to get the actual dosage that I am supposed to take every night. And now this morning he cancelled our appointment for our second time in a row. Find a better doctor than Dr. Guese, it is clear he doesn't truly care about or respect his patients.

Worst doctor ever, diagnosed my lipoma as "tight muscles," gave me muscles relaxers and sent me on my way. Not friendly, made me wait in the waiting room for almost an hour.... Found an actual doctor and had my lipoma removed... Find someone with actual training and medical knowledge.

He is lazy, prescribes drugs, and then you are on your own. My father has been going to this guy for life. He died of untreated heart disease. There were many symptoms that should have been obvious to a dr. Not once did he recommend any sort of treatment or warn of risks. He is either dumb, only in it for the $, or lazy. Please always get a 2nd opinion or don't go to him. Your life may depend on it. He also prescribed by brother anti-psychotics instead of simply sending him to therapist.

A few things: -Apparently never retrieved my medical records from my previous primary care provider. This was an unpleasant surprise as I attempted to get a list of my immunizations for upcoming travel -Spends most of the time during my yearly physical talking about his company -Refused to show me my testosterone levels. I had to go to a sketchy 'weightloss' clinic to get those Would not recommend this doctor and will be finding a new primary care provider ASAP

DR. MICHAEL GUESE, M.D. IS A FABULOUS, CARING, ARTICULATE, INTELLIGENT PHYSICIAN! HE IS ONE OF THE FINEST CLINICIANS THAT I HAVE EVER HAD! HOWEVER, THE REASON I ONLY INDICATED ONE STAR FOR THE LIKELIHOOD OF RECOMMENDING DR. GUESE TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY IS BECAUSE OF HIS STAFFPERSON, ERIN. ERIN IS A TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE NO GOOD VERY BAD NURSE IN THE EMPLOY OF DR. GUESE. FOR OVER A MONTH I ATTEMPTED TO GET A REFERRAL TO A SURGEON. SHE ADAMANTLY REFUSED TO HELP ME & WASTED WEEKS OF MY LIFE!

I have been looking for a doctor that I can be very comfortable with. I have been to several in the past few months. When I first met Dr Guese I knew instantly that I had found what I had been looking for. He is very easy to talk to and he listened to you. He explains everything so you understand what he's talking about. I would recommend him to anyone.
