I needed to see a Thoracic Surgeon so my Primary & Oncologist referred me to Dr. Greene. When I met Dr. Greene I knew right away that he was going to be the Surgeon! He was very soft spoken, explained the procedure and some options or changes that may occur during surgery, and explained some changes I may have to adjust to afterwards. While in hospital, Dr. Greene visited me every day until I was released.His Staff is also outstanding! They answered my questions and made me feel better knowing I had people that cared!Thank you to Dr. Greene & his Staff!Highly highly recommend!!!

Dr. Green performed a pericardial effusion window surgery. He is a skilled, top-notch surgeon, but more than that he very compassionate toward patients.

Last month Dr. Greene operated on my husband for a tumor in his right lung. There were several tests done ahead of this, including a biopsy by Dr. Greene to confirm that it was a malignant tumor. Because of the size and location of the tumor it was necessary for Dr. Greene to remove the entire lung and adjacent lymph nodes. Luckily for us the tumor was found and addressed quickly enough that it had not yet spread to any other areas in my husband’s body.Dr. Greene came highly recommended to us and is a really excellent surgeon. He is also a compassionate, caring, supportive and encouraging doctor. His reporting on his surgical procedure was extensive, but as he said, it was in “doctors speak,” so he took the time to go over the entire report in layman’s terms for us to fully understand the full scope of the surgery.We are so thankful to him for the care he gave my husband and recommend him with our highest respect and regards.

Went to his office where he explain the procedure, what he would do in the surgery, what he was looking for and what to expect after the procedure! Very compassionate always asking if I needed anything to help. Did I have any questions, he could answer to clarify.

In this fast paced world we live in today Dr Greene helped to restore our faith in mankind. He was a very personable Dr. He took the time to explain everything before treatment and afterwards to where we could understand it. He did not rush in nor rush out when with us. We knew we had the right Dr when all the medical staff had nothing but good things to say about him. When faced with changing abnormal areas on CT and PET CT, I needed invasive follow-up, I was sent to Dr Green who was an approved physician with my insurance. He explained my options and gave me choices. After 40 years as an imaging technologist and seeing hundreds of lung biopsies, I chose to have the growing nodule in my chest removed without a biopsy. I am 2 weeks post-op and now rid of the cancer and abnormal cells in my right lung. Dr Green and his staff have been great and would highly recommend him.

When I had my first encounter with Dr Greene, it was like he had nothing else to do except tell me about the surgery I needed. He was very casual in a very professional way. I felt very safe after our meeting.

Dr. Green is a mild mannered physician who gives a full understanding account of what needs to be done and follows up well with post operational instructions and care.

Dr. Green reserved time in his busy schedule to discuss my surgery before the time came to perform the surgery and after the suceessful completion. Knowing what was to happen and what to expect made all the difference. He cares about what he does and how he does it.I understand that becouse of his work my recovery time will be short. Dr. Green is a professional doctor with a great attitude toward patient care. HE work on my pacer replacement was top notch and would recommend him and the staff at Sebastian River Hospital to anyone who is in need of thoracic surgery. I was in and out 5 hours door to door. Never felt rushed. The whole staff took their time and explained every treatment and procedure. Answered any of the questions asked. The outcome was terrific I'm happy to say.

He is really a great Dr. Explaining everything and answering questions about what’s going to happen .Does not get in a hurry and wants you to understand everything he is doing..Just can’t say enough good things about Dr. Green . A great guy and thank you for everything .

Dr. Dad Green did surgery on my lungs, taking the cancer out and went into my lymph nodes and took eight lymph nodes out that had cancer in two of them. I am very grateful to Dr. Green.

Dr. Greene was thoughtful, considerate of the time we waited for him (he was running a few minutes late and had his staff keep us updated!) and thoroughly explained how the pacemaker was placed and what it would do to keep the heart in check. An enjoyable visit to a physician's office!

Dr Greene explained everything prior to surgery . Answered all questions. He actually drew a picture of the heart problem for good visualization of the issue at hand. Very kind spirited , did not rush us, and did a great surgical job!
