It was 2007
I had Gastric Bypass surgery by Dr Green in Dallas, TX at the now closed Renaissance Hospital. While at the time I was excited about surgery, & I'm glad I had it, I do have 1 issue. I have neuropathy in my thighs & have since surgery. Dr Green told me at a follow-up visit that the straps they used to hold me to the table where probably too tight & it would probably go away in time. It's 2024 & it's still a problem. The tops of my thighs always feel tingly, like when you're foot falls asleep. They're very sensitive to touch & I've gotten some relief with acupuncture & massage, it'll never go away. I moved not long after surgery & follow-up care was non existent. I'm grateful I was able to find a lot of information online so that I have remained healthy & maintained most of my near 100lb weight loss. From the reviews here it doesn't sound like his bedside manner has improved, it wasn't great then and like others expressed, I don't feel like I was heard or was more than a stomach & a $.

Only cares about money and himself
I had a band removed because of erosion and complications. After surgery i was withering away. I had to go to er almost every day. My medical bills pilled high. While I tried to tell him in my visit. I was in serious pain. The vomiting & nausea was extreme. & he put me off has im crazy. Would not believe anything I said. Because he is only right. I cried for 3 months straight until I seeked out help with another Dr. I dont recommend.

Very unprofessional
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Dr. Green is very unprofessional, has no bedside manners or empathy for his patients. He does not communicate what was done in surgery and apparently does not document it so nurses can explain. I don't know how this man still jas a license.

Living My Best Life
EXCELLENT SERVICE! Dr. Green statement is very true, when Dr. Green say you talk they listen that statement is very true. Dr. Green really to listen and take what you say to heart. I am very happy to have been one of his patience. Since 3-16-2014 from The Gastic Band/to having the Gastic Band-Removal for the Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy. The best thing I could have ever had. To me Dr. Michael Green is "AWESOME" as well as his TEAM! Sharon Stormy Griffen, Downtown Dallas, Tx Nov. 29, 2022

I met with Dr.Green this morning and I was thoroughly impressed with him and the information he provided..... Dr. Green was very patient, knowledgeable and forthcoming.... Dr.Green is well-informed on various bariatric procedures, the side effects and many other questions I had about the different techniques practiced. I weigh over 600lbs & a scale was available for me... not common.... I would highly recommend him to critical care patients. Dr. Green- we need more surgeons like you!

When I went for my appointmnt l had a lot of questions to asked ,and I was given a folder that basically covered everything, Dr green ,and his associates, were very nice and professional, they Calm a lot of my fears, and since the surgery I've had great recovery and I see rapid weight loss ,I had no upset stomach,a lot of gas but Gas-X took care of that I moved up to stage 3 about 3 days early and my stomach accepted the food real well I'd like to thank,dr. green and all of his staff members.

Dr. Green performed my mother's gastric bypass. It's been at least 6 months since her surgery. She is not able to drink water or eat any food at all. The ER will not even see her because they don't know how to treat her. Dr. Green will not return her calls. She is withering away and her life is at immediate risk. There is a blockage and he will not see her. Dr. Green simply only cares about money from insurance companies and money from his patients.

My girlfriend recently had surgery by Dr. Green. She has followed the program that she received instruction in and has done so well that I am going through the process to have the same sleeve procedure done. So far all of my interactions have been high quality. All of the people I have interacted with have been professional and supportive. The process takes 90 days during which I have seen a number of other doctors to ensure that any other issues are resolved first.
