Dr. Michael Grady, MD

Dr Grady is my 91 year old mother's primary care doctor, can't say enough good things about him. Knowledgeable, thoughtful, attentive, available, informative, compassionate, comprehensive in his care -- qualities that are almost impossible to find in doctors in today's world. Extraordinarily grateful to have found him.

Dr Grady is an outstanding doctor & person. I feel so lucky to have found him. He & his staff are warm, knowledgeable & patient - all key ingredients to a healthy ongoing doctor patient relationship. I had not worked with an internist of his caliber before &, as I am a younger person with a complex medical situation, his ability for us to work collaboratively is critical to my care & I give him 10 stars for that! He is unassuming yet extremely knowledgeable & he has a way of fostering a trusting atmosphere that makes our medical successes possible. I recommend him without reservation & consider myself blessed to have him & his staff supporting my ongoing healthcare needs!

02/29/2020 If I could, I would give Dr. Michael J. Grady a minus five stars. Being a geriatric doctor, he was entrusted with the care of my ninety-six year old mother Constance Brown Koefoed and failed us miserably. When she developed a “sore” on her left big toe months ago, he never took the time to think “outside the box.” Many times we would end up seeing the doctor’s assistant as oppose to seeing him directly. I believe his cavalier attitude caused the premature death of my mother. After my mother’s left leg was amputated above the knee her health declined dramatically. My mother’s cardiologist at Suburban Hospital told us he discovered she had suffered a major heart attack in 2016 while she was under the care of Dr. Grady. He simply compared an old cardiac report with the latest one. Dr. Grady never bothered to give my mother the proper tests which might have extended her life. I hope this review helps to shorten his career like he shorten my wonderful mother's life!

Dr. Grady maintains an efficient and well run practice.

Dr. Grady has always been conscientious in responding to my concerns, and giving me good practical advice on how to address health issues. He runs a good practice. His staff is very courteous, and I am recognized whenever I come in — even unplanned visits. I was very grateful when his staff responded immediately for a referral, when I was already at another clinic seeking help.

I find that Dr Grady takes the time to answer all my question and explain in a way that I can understand. It is easy to make an appointment to see him. I am glad that he is my Doctor.

Dr. Grady has been my primary care physician for over 20 years, ever since my wife, who was a nurse, learned from other nurses that he would be an ideal family physician for us and our children. I have been a double amputee since age seven, I have seen Dr. Grady regularly for exams. lab tests, and referrals to various specialists with whom Dr. Grady consults as may be needed for follow-up care. He has kept me in excellent health for which I am ever-grateful.

What would I do without Dr. Grady's great care? Hope I never have to find out!
