Jeff Carpenter-Newark, OhioDr. Gibson performed my cardiac double bypass surgery. I had no symptoms and feel he saved my life. The care was excellent and the surgery was successful. He made me feel calm and had a good bedside manner. He explained everything and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone facing open heart surgery.

Dr. Gibson saved my dad’s life. My dad had a heart attack, and Dr. Gibson and his team performed coronary bypass surgery on him. He is a wonderful man. Bless his heart and and his team! I thank the Lord for this man everyday. Dr. Gibson, if you’re reading this, just know that you are a blessing from above! Thank you for the hard work and love.

Dr. Gibson performed open heart on my husband on July 19, 2019. I could not ask for a better thoracic surgeon. This surgery was not expected since my husband has had no history of any heart disease. Dr. Gibson was very to the point and answered all our questions. His NP Jennifer was very thorough and knowledgeable with everything and our unexpected experience with this surgery went very well. I would recommend Dr. Gibson and his team to anyone with very high praises. All the staff at St Ann's were wonderful. The food could use some improvement but overall everything and everyone was great.

Dr. Gibson performed a quadruple bypass on me on June 27, 2019....all with very little advance notice. I was very pleased with the care he gave me, and feel that he saved my life. I had had back surgery only 2 1/2 weeks prior to the open heart surgery. Dr. Gibson kept me informed in advance as to what I might expect during and after the surgery, but, most of all, he instilled confidence in me. Thanks, Dr. Gibson.

He allowed my mother to suffer in excruciating pain after having open heart surgery less than 10 hours after surgery. I had full confidence after he assured us during the surgery prep that her pain would be well controlled after surgery . I don't care if he is the best surgeon in cardiothoracic surgery; you just DON'T do that to your patients, so I can not recommend him to anyone. Thank you
