Dr Michael Gann, is extremely observant. He listens to me, when I go in for my appointments. He has always been and continues to be compassionate about being a doctor.. dr Gann is extremely intelligent, but his bedside manner is thoughtful and kind. It is rare to find both in one doctor. I am grateful to be a patient of his for many years now. His attention to detail and documenting medical records that will help you further down the road with your physical ailments is a step above the rest. I highly recommend booking an appointment with him if you are seeking a primary care physician. He cares about his patients; and I trust his medical direction and advice.He explains what your issues are and tells you exactly what is needed for resolutions for the best firm if care. His caring personality shows every single time I’ve been to Capitol Mall Clinic.

I had an appointment with Dr. Michael K. Gann Jr. on yesterday. I informed him that I’d lost a lot of weight because I did not have an appetite. I stated I wanted to know all of my options to increase appetite including the holistic approach. Dr. Gann begin to tell me what options I DID NOT have; this is when he said he would not prescribe me marijuana. I informed him that I did not want nor need a prescription for marijuana because I already had a medical marijuana card, and that was not the issue. He continued to explain the effects of chronic marijuana use. At no point did I ever tell him I used marijuana chronically. I don’t even use marijuana at all, but I do have a card if I so choose. He judged me by first assuming I was there for him to prescribe marijuana; then by jumping to the conclusion that I used marijuana chronically after I informed him that I already had a medical marijuana card. He needs to do his research on what the word “holistic” means. I NEVER mentioned marijuana use, HE DID. Furthermore, when speaking with him it’s like he is reading straight out of a textbook, he talks to his patients as if they went to medical school with him instead of speaking in layman’s terms as a true doctor should. At the end of the visit he told me I should try one of the other doctors in his clinic. I am going to find a new clinic altogether. If you’re looking for a helpful and experienced PCP to guide you through your medical needs I DO NOT RECOMMEND this one!
