Dr. Michael Fritz, MD

He is an amazing doctor. Through his expertise, talent, and care he gave me back my ability to live a normal life. He and his colleagues at Cleveland Clinic gave 110% on my road to recovery.

Dr. Fritz (and Dr. Prendes) did a radical partial mandiblectomy and fibular free flap surgery in May of 2018 after I had a giant cell granuloma which ate through my jaw. After the surgery, my jaw was so grossly maloccluded that they had to go back in for a revision in July of 2018 (neither time did he wire my jaw. At each post op appointment, I was basically shamed by Dr. Fritz. Saying things like, “I’ve done this procedure so many times and have never had people have problems like you.” “You just need to practice putting your mouth in the proper position” And “maybe you just need to go to pain management” when I persistently told him I was having issues. I am a nurse with absolutely no history of substance abuse and he basically treated me as if I was a drug addict post op. I was in absolute agony. I still have continuous pain, however, at my last appointment he basically said, “I did everything I could do. I can’t help you anymore.” He told me to get dental implants, in a crooked jaw

Dr Fritz has excellent surgical skills. He did a superb job on my son for rhinoplasty & post operative phase was un- eventful. I would very highly recommend him &. he is a great asset to the medical profession. He spend enough time explaining about the procedure. Dr. Vijay Khanna Taylor, Michigan

His bedside manner leaves much to be desired. He comes across as very arrogant, which makes me question his decisions. He shows up late (even when you're the first appointment), and fails to ask the questions you need answered (so if you don't know to ask/ forget to ask- you're out of luck). I've never waited for less than 45 minutes to see him, but it is typically over an hour after my scheduled appointment. When he does see you, you're lucky if he spends 90 seconds with you.

Dr. Fritz performed a Bi-lateral facial surgery including tendon transfer from my thigh, in January of 2010. Since then, I have regained some facial movement, and most of my speech mobility. I am so grateful to him and his team for giving me my life back.
