Dr. Michael Fountain, DO

My pregnant daughter was extremely ill due to chronic kidney stones which caused multiple UTIs. She was septic a few times before we were lucky enough to get Dr F in the ER. Due to my daughter being 6 months pregnant she was always sent to L&D which made it hard to coordinate care in the beginning. Once he came into the picture he took it upon himself to tell her, I’ve got you until you have your baby and we can do surgery. Had his office help her change to insurance they accepted and continued caring for her even without it. She had to have stents replaced every 3-4 weeks, several rounds of antibiotics in the hospital due to her condition. He would coordinate with her ob dr and the hospitalist every time. He was simply amazing and I don’t think we would have had a positive outcome if not for him. He was her guardian angel. We are beyond grateful to him. After baby was born it took several procedures to clear up the massive amount of stones. She and baby are both doing amazing now.

This Doctor is The VERY BEST THERE IS ....PERIOD

Both my husband and I have been to see Dr. Fountain. He explains the issues clearly and prescribed treatment for us both that was successful. Kind, caring, and excellent doctor.

Dr. Fountains Staff is condescending and incompetent in every way! When bring it to Dr. Fountains attention to make him aware of this problem, he took the position that i used profanity with his office staff, which in no shape or form did this happened. As for an urologist, i felt his skills were moderate and reading Blood labs is not his strength. After our last conversation it looks like the tail wags the dog, he has lost complete control over his office staff, and I would avoid this provider at all cost!

Actually this rating should be zero. I spent over 75 minutes in the exam room without the doctor showing before I walked out. Like to get an explanation for this poor care

Kept me in a Foley catheter for nine months. No digital. No cancer check. Recommended a lifetime catheter as the only solution to my enlarged prostate. Went elsewhere to get a successful Rezume procedure. This doctor should not be practicing urology!

One of the most affable and knowledgeable doctors we have ever met. He saved me from the worst kidney stone pain imaginable. His cute sense of humor helped get me through the ordeal.

Very professional with a great bedside manner. Makes you reel very confident and has a great sense of humor.

My experience with Doctor Fountain was excellent. His quick wit and confidence put me at ease immediately. After suffering with stone for over 7 months with another Doc only doing ultrasounds which do not indicate the size of the stone, and that DOC telling me it had dissolved, I was apprehensive and concerned about my health...and cautious about another Doctor. Dr Fountain's expertise and skill and ability to diagnose and make recommendation for solution, is forever appreciated.

We are snowbirds and needed to see a Urologist ASAP due to my husband having a very painful kidney stone. We went to the ER of Waterman and Dr. Fountain was on call. He did the procedure to remove the stone and took the time both before and after to come out into the waiting room and explain what he was going to do and what he found afterwards. Very pleasant to deal with.

My husband saw Dr Fountain today and found him to be rude, not very nice. Not sure just what his problem is, but there are other doctors in Central Florida.

I went to the ER (on biker's weekend, at night... now there's an experience!) with searing pain in my left back and side. At 10pm the news was, "You're expecting!" Expecting a kidney stone, that is. After waiting for nearly 3 months for it to appear, severe pain and "colorful" urine made the decision for me. Within 4 days Dr. Fountain and his fantastic staff had me in for surgery and it went FANTASTIC. He is attentive, caring, open to alternative solutions, thorough. He's great!

With urologic bleeding, I came to Dr. Fountain's office at his personal request only to find that he was not there. This has happened twice. He has been rude and unprofessional to both me and my wife.
