Dr. Michael Eng, MD

Dr. Eng has provided me with 2 colonoscopy's. I agree that he has a good bedside manner and explains everything. On my most recent visit the staff reception staff was absolutely horrible. I had confirmed my appointment and gave them my UHC card info. When I got there they asked me to fill out 10 pages. When I asked why you didn't send me these documents when I confirmed, they told me they are not an electronic office. WHAT??? They asked me to pay for the copay ($25) cash. I said no one told me that and I have an HFS. They said the next time I would pay cash. Lastly, when I was leaving they asked about my last visit which Dr. Eng performed at Beth Israel Hospital. They said they had no record. I was then asked if I had the phone number of Beth Israel Hospital. I met with Dr. Eng but when I got home I canceled. If the Doctor can't employ competent staff, I felt I can't work with Dr. Eng again.

i get very nervous going to the dr but Dr Eng made me very comfortable. He examined me and suggested a colonoscopy which i will schedule soon. Just wanted to say he is personable, thorough has a good assistant Racasa that put my mind at ease. I will definitely keep him as my dr. and def recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Eng for about 10 years. He is friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and answers all questions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Eng's for 5 or 6 years after a recommendation from a trusted friend in the medical field. He is friendly, and patient, and his office is efficient. Most important, he listens. Takes good notes. Is a wonderful diagnostician. He's performed an endoscopy and colonoscopy on me, great team. Caring man. One of my fav docs. I have already recommended him to friends, with good results.

I have been seeing Dr. Eng for over 6 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, very patient with questions and truly cares for his patients. Dr. Eng's bedside manner is comforting and he is very attentive to each need. His front desk staff is always pleasant and operates quickly and smoothly. I have never had a bad experience at his office and recommend him to anyone experiencing GI issues.

Excellent & compassionate doctor -- have had a number of procedures with him. Staff is impossible -- don't seem to understand that patients actually have a right to speak with their doctors. I hadn't seen him for two years, as governed by my insurance company. When I made the appointment, they waited until I arrived to let me know they no longer accepted my insurance. Office manager was to relay some info. to the doctor & call me back. Never did. Tried calling again. Stonewalled.
