My back was a real mess, Dr. Duffy explained what he was going to do to fix me up prior to surgery. The surgery went very well from my perspective, and Dr. Duffy said he was very pleased with how the surgery went. My pain level on a 1-10 scale prior to surgery was an 8-9 daily. Within an hour of awaking from the surgery, I realized that my legs were pain free. I was up and walking within 2 hours of surgery. 5 months later I feel my surgery was 100% successful.

Very imoressed with Dr. Duffy and his entire staff. Dr. Duffy explained my condition clearly in terms I could understand and carefully explained my treatment options. Each time I have been seen, I have never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room or the exam room. I feel great confidence that I am in great hands.

I had spinal surgery done to fuse C5,C6,C7 vertebrae. During my whole time working with Dr. Duffy, he and his staff at the Texas Back Institute have performed outstanding. My surgery and recovery have been a success. I cannot thank Dr. Duffy and his staff enough. I would recommend him to all my family and friends

Dr. Duffy is awesome! I had 3 different issues with my spine that caused excruciating pain. Dr. Duffy gave me my life back! I did a lot of research before choosing him and I am so happy I did. He always tries every available option before recommending surgery. When physical therapy & injections did not help, only then did he recommend surgery. Over the past several years, Dr. Duffy and successfully performed surgery on my low back and neck when nothing else worked. I would not trust any other doctor with my spine! His staff is awesome too.

Been seeing Dr Duffy for 6 years. Could hardly walk when I first went in. He has done 2 operations on me. In the best shape today I've been in over 7 years. I credit Dr Duffy for that. He is personable, likable, highly knowledgeable and qualified. No way I'd let any other back surgeon put his hands on me. As a 6 year patient I'm sold on Micheal Duffy, Jeremy and the entire staff!!!

I’ve had a couple of office appointments with Dr Duffy and he will be doing spine surgery on me on July 20. I’ve found him to be personable, professional and knowledgeable. He’s clear about the issues affecting my spine and will be doing multiple fusions to help get me out of pain. I’ve seen many doctors about these problems over the past 25+ years and out of anyone that I’ve seen, he’s the only surgeon I’d have do these surgeries. I am confident that putting my trust in him is the right thing.

Dr Duffy did not explain anything except I might have a problem and asked how many children I've had . He wouldn't prescribe anything for pain but referred me to pain .management. my problem cannot be corrected with surgery therefore he gets no money, he could care less what I'm going through. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Duffy is very kind and patient. He answered all the questions I had about my son's severe back issues without making me feel stupid as other doctors had done. He found the best surgery solution to get my son back on his feet and living a normal life. I can't say enough good about him or his staff. The office staff and nurses were all very nice every time I called or went in!
