Disappointing. Not a happy patient
First, the experience at the appointment was not okay. He was rushed, curt and arrogant. I asked questions: he answered some, and then handed me a pamphlet and said 'read this.' He ordered tests without asking me whether I was willing to do them. Then, I got two bills. Yes, two bills for the same appointment. One was for the doctor's time. The other was for just being in the examination room. Wow. All for the 20-some minutes he actually spent with me.

I asked that Dr. Dixon diagnose me, rather than treat me. He did that but then he treated me like an idiot because he was offended that I refused his allopathic treatments. I primarily use homeopathy and rarely need allopathic medicine. He wanted to treat me with antibiotics despite the very low rate of success using them for ear infections. He didn't realize my decades of experience researching medical literature, as a data analyst and statistician. My experience was way over his head and he never asked what my credentials were. Then he appeared to overcharge my insurance for the service he provided.

Dissatisfied with medical procedure
Discussed was partial uvulectomy where a portion of the uvula is cut. This was the procedure I agreed to since removal of all of the uvula causes problems. All of my uvula was removed despite what was discussed and has left me with nothing but problems that I now have to live with since there is nothing that reverses this procedure.

Was sent to him last year for chronic sinus infections. He suggested allergy testing, and I found out I had other allergies I had no clue I had. He works hard to find treatment plans to help me feel better. I had no problem with starting and staying on my allergy drops. I highly suggest him if you have sinus problems and/or allergies.
