Dr. Dixon absolutely ruined my foot. I went to him for bunion surgery. My big toe had two screws that nearly came through my skin. It looks deformed and lays across my second toe. He actually removed tissue from the right side of that toe. Praying with your patient does not make you a good doctor. He also charged Medicare for hammer toe surgery that he did not do. I am in pain and have trouble wearing shoes. Horrible experience that I will never forget!

He was supposed to shave down or remove a tailor's bunion on the outside of my left foot under the little toe. He cut ligaments and the result was my little toe went straighten out and it sits on top of the toe next to it. I saw another podiatrist and not only did he deform my foot but he did nothing to correct the bunion but he shaved down the bone under the front of my foot. I now have a callous across the bottom of my foot, a deformed toe, and bone pushing right down on the bottom of my foot without any cushion. I am constantly in pain, even if I'm not walking or standing. I did not wear heels or any type of restricted shoes. Because of how the fact that he screwed up my toe, I can't wear even flat shoes. The toe sits up high on the adjacent toe so that the shoes either won't go into the end of the shoe at all or it rubs against the top of the shoe. I wish I'd sued him when I could but he kept assuring me that the toe, etc. would heal with time.

Dr. Dixon and his staff are wonderful, he has fused one of my ankles already and I couldn't have made it through it without him and his staff, I'm up to have the other ankle fused, due to a medical condition brought on by my chemotherapy protocol, but I wouldn't have chose another doctor to take of me... I went to several in the beginning before finding Dr. Dixon, I'm very picky when it comes to my doctors. I trust him and his staff with everything dealing with my medical issues!!!!
