The original surgery went well, however, developed issues post-surgery, and I was not impressed with his care, or the care from the hospital, after complications. His lack of care and compassion was evident when he failed to follow up, of be involved in my care at all.

I have had a heartbreaking experience with Dr. Michael Deutsch.

I had a medical emergency recently, and needed the help of a Colon & Rectal Surgeon. I found Dr. Deutsch while searching the Internet "for the best". On my first visit, Dr. Deutsch explained, with great detail, and caring what my problem was, and how he could help me. Three days later I was operated on at the wonderful Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, in Hershey, PA. Dr. Deutsch was there in my room EVERY morning I was in the hospital, again explaining to me how the surgery went, and what to expect as I was recovering. HE IS THE BEST, no doubt, and the Hershey Medical Center & wonderful staff made me feel like I was their only patient at the hospital. I can't say enough with the little space left here! LOL! Thank YOU!! Dr Deutsch!! & the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center staff!!
