Thank you Dr. C
I met Dr C as a second opinion for my pancreatic cancer. He had reviewed records from where my cancer journey had started and was prepared for me visit. He has been very helpful to me and my family and answering our questions.

Had a condescending attitude and no current labs despite all labs being on the Penn portal. Wrote off my condition related to menstruation despite not having an active period for years. Would not believe me otherwise and told me that “it sucks to be a woman.”Did not run any new labs but took me off current treatment from pcp. Found out later that many facilities won’t use him for their residences because of negative patient interactions. Office also billed wrong insurance and bill has not been adjusted.

Very bad experience here! Dr MC was very condescending and lacked basic bedside manner. Staff are also rude here.

Dr. Costello is a life saver. He and the entire staff of the Abramson Cancer Center (West Chester and Kennett Square offices) are very caring. He takes the time to answer all your questions. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in November and he had me in remission by the end of March.. Dr. Costello, Amber Carter, and Carolann Gelder are always available if there are any questions or concerns. I can text a question or concern and I have an answer almost immediately.

Cookie cutter treatment. He wants to fit everyone into standard categories regardless of unusual test results. He doesn't ask questions, preferring to lecture patients on his knowledge. He is very young, bright and capable, and will probably get better with more experience. Humility will begin to replace cockiness. When he starts to treat each patient as a unique case, then he will truly be a good doctor.
