I recently had foot surgery with Dr. Clain. He is a skilled, professional, and caring surgeon. He listened to my questions and concerns and gave me honest answers, calmed my fears, and gave me confidence. Dr. Clain, his PA Paula, and the entire ONS Team are the absolute best. They treat you like you are part of their family, giving you personalized care and attention and they made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Clain and the ONS Team.

This is the second foot surgery i have had with Dr. Clain. He is professional, takes time to discuss the procedures with the patient - i have never felt rushed or talked down to. The entire staff at ONS is a pleasure to deal with - i am never kept waiting , polite and professional.

From the start, making the appointment was incredibly easy, we were able to get in right away. Every staff member and Dr. Clain were incredibly helpful, kind, knowledgeable, they listened and were receptive to my needs. Dr. Clain offered an immediate solution, with a follow-up to make sure it's working.

Dr. Clain was terrific. He repaired my ruptured achilles tendon beautifully. I called him the day after my injury, he saw me within 48 hrs. and operated on me the next week. He operates out of a beautiful surgical center in Stamford, CT where the staff was attentive and kind. The facility was immaculate. Dr Clain has a very straighforward bedside manner and his instructions on recovery were spot on. If you follow his guidelines, you will see results. The surgery went very well as did my post op recovery. I saw him for the next six months, achilles injuries take a long time, and he followed my progress closely and answered all my questions. I would not hesistate to use him again.

Dr. Clain operated on my big toe due to arthritis. The surgery was an absolute success. I am pain free! He made the recovery process simple. I don't have any pain when I walk and I am able to wear shoes again. Dr. Clain is smart, professional, and caring. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor.

I saw Dr. Clain due to an ankle fracture I had. His knowledge of conditions and treatment plans allowed me to fully recover from the incident and now I am back to hiking down mountains again. He was very friendly and the meetings were not very long, but he was able to address everything. I highly recommend Greenwich ONS and Dr. Clain.

After seeing a number of other orthopedists with the hopes of correcting my failed bunion surgery, I took the advice of a friend and made an appointment with Dr. Clain. He carefully studied my medical records and x-rays, and to my amazement, assured me that yes, my foot could be fixed after all. My grandmother had been crippled by her bunions, and I lived most of my life with the fear that would be my fate as well. Dr. Clain explained that he would remove the hardware in my foot (he even ordered the special screwdriver to do so), and perform the surgery without having to fuse my big toe, which I had been told to date was unavoidable. Now I wear real shoes and walk without pain. Make that first appointment with Dr. Clain and his caring team, you will never regret it!!

I had a significant foot/ankle injury from running . I saw Dr Clain and he recommended surgery to fix my tendon and get me running again . I saw a few other drs because I was hoping some would tell me I did not need surgery. Dr . Clain was the only dr who wanted to help me get back to running which was so important to me . I had the surgery and started back running exactly the timeline he presented to me . He was such a great surgeon and person to Understand the importance of what was important to me . Happy feet at last! After many years of suffering, I finally had bilateral foot surgery for bunions and bone spurs. Dr. Michael Clain is truly an exceptional surgeon and I could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Dr. Clain spent a great deal of time with me explaining the issues and corrective procedures. It’s clear he has spent a lifetime in this field. He is very knowledgeable and extremely personable. My scars are healing beautifully and are hardly noticeable. Best of all I am back to my active lifestyle and feeling terrific! Special shout out to Paula, one of the nurses at ONS who really helped me with the practicalities of wound care and was always available to answer questions. She was an invaluable resource. Also the staff at ONS run a well-oiled machine. Even during the pandemic, scheduling the surgeries and follow up appointments was a breeze. I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Clain for complex foot and ankle issues.

I highly recommend Dr. Clain. He repaired my broken ankle and I couldn't be happier with the results. I am back to playing all of my sports with no issues. The office staff and technicians are excellent as well, they are friendly and were well versed with my condition.
