Dr. Michael Boyer, DDS

As someone who hasn’t had any dental work for 6 years (and needed it) I was expecting to be in some modicum of pain or discomfort, and I was. Though, I wanted to write this review for others like mySelf, who feel anxious about seeing that 1.4 star average.Here’s the long and short of it: Dr. Boyer has a non-existent bedside manner, this much is true. There were no farewells, and barely a salutation to start. No real interactions, only rushed words here or there, and his back to me for majority of the visit. Also, he seems very dismissive of the concerns of those with diagnosed anxiety. My situation was a painFull one already, and while he was none too gentle with the anesthetic, he definitely gave me plenty of it. He could have stood to wait a bit longer after the numbing swabs, though.The overall good news? He’s quick. I was prepared for more pain, (because, dental traumas), but by the time I closed my eyes, and braced, it was over. His speed was both the highlight and the crux.

I have never had such an awful experience! I went in for an extraction of a very loose molar. He gave me 4 injections and I was still feeling the tooth, he proceeded to pull the tooth despite me letting him know I was feeling the entire process! Avoid him at all costs !!!! People hate the dentist because of uncaring dentists like Dr Boyer !!!

Firstly he seems tried and unfriendly. He removed 4 teeth and had horrible experience ever. It’s been more than a week but still I’m on soft/ liquid diet and in sever pain. I’ve seen him in Egg harbor family dental office. Always go for Dr. Micheal Stern for teeth extractions. Unfortunately that day he was not working.

He is awful. He yelled and called my son.a brat for no reason other than he was nervous. When I told the staff, they stuck up for the doctor. I will never go back to hi. Ever again. It took my son over a year before he could even sit in another dentist chair
