Dr. Michael Aynardi, MD

Had recent hip tendon reattachment, non weight bearing on right hip. Right anklevfracture. Dr. Aynardy performed ankle fusion on my broken left ankle so it could be partial weight bearing not having me go to an inpatient rehab with two non weight bearing legs. A rod up thru my femur and screws thru my ankle did the job.

There is no one I would trust more to operate on my feet. From the first meeting to the last follow up he and his team showed professionalism with a warm heart. They listened and answered every question. I stayed awake during the operation which involved cutting across my right foot, which had been damaged by Osteomyelitis and had become deformed. Throughout the long operation, he and his team talked to me and kept me informed. When finished with the cutting he placed an external fixator to stabilize the bones while they knitted. I have gone from being unable to walk in March 2020 to now (Feb 2021) walking 6 miles a day. In my opinion, if you need foot surgery, call Hershey Bone and Joint and ask for Dr Aynardi. Meet his wonderful team, ask questions and I know you will agree with me.

Dr. Aynardi is excellent! Kind and caring personality combined with intelligence and surgical expertise, what more can you ask for? No one touches my feet but him.

After my first visit I was so impressed with Dr Aynardi’s personality, knowledge, and patient/doctor relationship. I have now seen him a total of three times and will definitely select him to do surgery on my retinaculum and peroneal tendon. He is a ‘class’ surgeon and person. Thank you Dr Aynardi
