I rate him as an outstanding exceptional Dr.
However your scheduling is abysmal.I arrived at 3.35pm yesterday for a 3.50pm appt. I finally saw Dr. Rothstein at 5 pm. Understand there are medical emergencies but one should be told of a delay. Your scheduling , maybe a patient every 10 mins by my reckoning, is way too tight. Would like to see this resolved.I am disappointed with the factoryFeeling of what used to be a very personable office.

Highly Competent Ophthalmologist
Dr. Rothstein communicated effectively what to expect before, during, and after my cataract surgery. Easy to talk with and answered all my questions. Performed the two surgeries extremely well. Made me feel at ease with his sense of humor.

Positive review of Dr. Rothstein appointment
Dr. Rothstein and his staff were very professional which gave me confidence that everyone knew what they were supposed to ask and do. I was impressed with how quickly Dr. Rothstein could pull up different parts of the report from the previous year to do comparisons and lead me through interpretation of minor changes.

Eye Pressure
Dr. Rothstein has been monitoring the pressure in my left eye for about a year and a half. After this visit he started me on drops due to increased pressure. This could have damaged my eye if he had not had me come in every 4 months to monitor this. He cares about the vision health of his patients. Recommend him highly.

My visit was great and his tests and comment made me more comfortable about knowing macular degeneration and retina concerns were no longer worrisome. When I asked the doctor about his optical department , he said I wouldn’t have them here if they weren’t excellent. I had so many problems with the past optical company , that was important to me. My only thought was the doctor ‘ s response could have been more understanding. And less defensive. His response could have been “ you will be pleased.

He was my 2nd opinion but my FIRST choice.
He is knowledgeable & caring. He always takes his time & never rushes through what I need to know. He explains things very well using computer images & charts & gives options. He listens to & addresses my concerns. I appreciate he fixed my eyes with less invasive surgery & gave my body time to get it right. NO heavy drugs.
