Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

After being extremely rude and demeaning, calls giving an incorrect diagnosis and says he can’t treat that (the incorrect diagnosis) type of cancer. Stated he didn’t even know any doctors in our area that could, which is questionable seeing how he works for a major provider. Have a feeling he’s been let go by the others. Horrible doctor. Horrible reviews across the internet. If you want your loved one to have a chance, go elsewhere. If you have an “easy” type of cancer he can milk the insurance for money for…go to him.

Awful! I’m a 67 year old female patient, already at a high anxiety level because of rectal cancer and I got severely scolded by this man through the whole visit over a misunderstanding from a missed appointment after another doctor said he completely removed my mass, told me I didn’t need treatment unless it came back and scheduled a followup sigmoidoscomy. With no mention of make sure you keep your appointments with Mushtaq. I thought that meant good to go and cancelled Mushtaq and surgeon. Now checkup showed it coming back, starting all over with thorough scolding from Dr Mushtaq. When I mentioned no one called from his office to gently explain I needed to keep appt, he said “a call back from the office is just a courtesy whereas showing up was my responsibility.” Husband very angry. As he said, even the dentist office reminds us twice before a cleaning! The gastroenterology team in New Albany made sure I kept my appointments when originally diagnosed. Now cancer may be worse.

Dr Mustaq, has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met. Did not care about our needs, had no clue on what medication or dosage to treat my wife with. We luckily found a outside doctor that got her on road to healing fast and easy. I would not reccomend this doctor to prescribe an aspirin. -120 stars
