Dr. Merijeanne Moore, DO

I am so grateful for Dr. Moore. I've seen her through the years and she's always intuitive and present. I feel so heard and validated with her. She has helped me tremendously!!! I can't recommend her highly enough!!

In the 15 years or so since I worked with her, she has remained my number one referral for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate psychiatrist in the Anchorage Bowl. I was a Board certified psychiatrist for decades, so I feel qualified to say: "There's simply none better than Dr. Moore."

I have been seeing Dr.Moore for a little over 2 years now! I have seen a lot of doctors and therapists because of my disorders and I have to say Dr.Moore is by far the best. She cares and you know she cares threw the advice and thoughts about how to better my life. I am doing a lot better and it’s all do to my hard work from the ???????? Dr.Moore has given me. I almost gave up hope but now am very excited for my future and am so lucky to have Dr.Moore as my doctor. During the course of my 67 years, I have seen many mental health professionals, either for myself or for my children. Dr Moore is by far and absolutely one of the very best in the country. Her knowledge and professionalism is top notch as is her office staff. She and her team can not be matched. She has a talent for saying just the right thing to help you help yourself. I would never dream of seeing anyone else. She has helped me in multiple aspects of my life. I truly believe I would not be where I am in in my life today without her help. I would have NO hesitation recommending Dr. Moore making sure folks understand that the partnership you are forming means questioning in order to make sure that your issues are good fit for her expertise. Dr. Moore has been my Dr. for around 2 years and has always treated me with dignity and has been instrumental in helping me cope with a severe depression and I credit her with helping me get back to where I used to be. She's caring and I've never been rushed during an appointment. I highly recommend her.

She required I answer a series of questions before I was allowed to make an appt to see her. She reviewed my answers and then declined to see me as a patient based on my answers. Not because she wasn't taking new patients or because I didn't have a referring pysician. I felt not good enough. I was a depressed person who reached out to her for help and she rejected me. Luckily, I am not suicidal. But what if I was? Would this uncompassionate brush off be enough to shove someone over the edge?
