Best Psychiatrist in the area!
I have been seeing Dr. Stanton for 3 years now and can confidently say that I would not be where I am today without her. Having studied psychology myself at an advanced level and have seen mental health professionals for over a decade now, I know a good practitioner when I see one. Unlike others in her profession, her positive attitude is genuine and her willingness to go above and beyond to advocate for you as a patient is exceptional. She makes you feel like a human and her empathetic nature reassures you in times of crisis that everything will once again be okay. When it comes to punctuality, communication in and out of office (via MyChart), consistency with medication refills and outside referrals etc. Dr. Stanton is amazing. I could not recommend a psychiatrist more! Plus the lady’s at the front desk are always a pleasure!

Excellent Doctor
Highly educated professional! She takes time to listen to her patients. She knows her chosen area & more. Dr. Stanton is spot on in her diagnosis 10/10 times. I would not see another therapist for my mental health needs. She is curtious & kind. 5 years!+

Dr. Meredith Stanton is the worst. She is a know it all that doesn’t listen to any of the symptoms the patient describes. At an appointment in August, I was unable to stay the entire time due to COVID related symptoms. She reported a very serious diagnosis to my insurance company without conducting a full analysis. Being a licensed insurance agent, I caught this right away. After being told in person by the office staff that I had not been diagnosed with that, I had them print out my medical history. The diagnosis was nowhere to be found on my First Health medical history, just reported to my insurance company. I was also told she wrote unfounded things about me in the Epic system shared with other medical providers. She does not advocate on the patients behalf, she screws then over with misdiagnosed mental illnesses. Needless to say, she does not care about her patients well-being. Two words to describe Dr. Stanton are narcissistic and snooty.

She listens and understands the problem. Understands the need to switch or change medications or dosages. Is truly concerned about the patient.
