very caring and willing to listen
Dr. Liebman was always very caring and understood my boundaries when it came to certain procedures. She was also very nonjudgmental and willing to help me with my mental health issues. She also was not judgmental about my BMI, which is so rare in doctors nowadays.

Unnecessary testing
We took out new born for a weight check at 5 days old. Baby was discharged with no issues; gained weight as expected; was eating well; was not fussy at all; was not born prematurely; we have no history of Jaundice in our family, and Meredith complemented that the baby was "perfect". When my wife asked if there was any risk of Jaundice, Meridith simply ordered Bilirubin testing for no articulated reason whatsoever (there were no signs of the baby being yellow). Testing was done on a Sunday, where the labs for 2 out of the 3 hospitals were closed. Testing itself was a torture for the baby - they drew a large vile of blood (the equivalent of 1/4 liter of blood for an adult). The total Bilirubin levels came in at 14, which would be elevated for an adult - so, as parents we freaked out, before reaching out to another doctor who articulated why the total Bilirubin levels are expected to be elevated for a child. This whole very stressful and painful exercise was all because of nothing!
