I liked her until I didn't
I went to Dr Faulkner for 7 years. She was excellent and I recommended her to all my colleagues. Then 2020 happened. I am a flight attendant and the mental stress during that time was unbelievable. At my annual check up in September of that year, I cried in her office and asked her to give me something to help me with my pre-work panic attacks. She prescribed me Clonazepam, but first she suggested that I quit my job. I don't know how out of touch you have to be to suggest that a person who is making $55 per hr and has not had a 'regular' job for almost a decade simply quit (during an economic downturn!) and start all over is a good way to solve panic attacks, but Dr Faulkner is indeed that. Later, CVS refilled the Clonazepam and I did not pick it up. They returned it. When I did need the refill, they said I was out. I contacted Dr Faulkner to clear the situation up and she implied that I was an addict. I did not quit my job. I switched doctors and I don't have panic attacks anymore.

Awesome Dr. and Human!
Dr Faulkner has always been very knowledgable, patient, and friendly. I appreciate her approach to health - always offering practical tips and solutions towards living a healthier life. I appreciate her approach to visits - always inviting and willing to spend the time you need to be heard and never making any question feel silly. She shows a genuine care and concern for her patients and I appreciate her for this! Highly recommend her as a Primary Care Dr. and as just a great person!

Chronically late
She’s fine as a doctor but clearly doesn’t value her patients time. Routinely 30 minutes plus late one time for a virtual appointment she was 50 minutes late.

This review is based on a "Virtual Visit" I had with Dr. Faulkner even though I had an office visit set up with a different Tryon Dr. the following week. Have been having major GI issues no doubt spurred on by stress. Dr. Faulkner carefully listened to me, saw that I had an upcoming appt. with a colleague at a different location and recommended I take a prescription strength acid reducer as she felt the stress might be kicking that up. It (Omeprazole) worked wonders & I have it here for when stress & subsequent acid builds up. Great diagnostician and very nice, down to earth person! Wish she worked out of a closer branch of Tryon!
