Amazing physician that cares so much. I have been looking for a Rheumatologist since moving away from her area.Would love to see if she can provide care in Texas via telehealth.

One of the Most Caring Doctors I've Had
I am a former patient of Dr. El Ramahi's and was sad when she left practice in Noblesville - however, I wanted to write a review for her to thank her for the quality of care she provided me with during our time together. I still get doctors praising how thorough she was with her notes and diagnoses. She didn't ever let her patients suffer - she was always looking for the right answer and didn't rest until she came to it. Her bedside manner was professional and kind, and I felt extremely safe and supported in her care. I knew I was in good hands. I always felt seen and heard and appreciated the time she took in explaining things to me. I'm not sure where she's practicing nowadays - but anyone who has her will be lucky, both office and her patients. I've not had a rheumatologist as thorough, knowledgeable and kind since.

I thought she was great. She's very thorough and caring. The facility I was going to see her at closed and I am forced to find a new doctor. I am deeply disappointed. She was always easy to talk to and took the time to explain the treatment plan.

Arrogant and not sufficiently educated
1. Denial of ordering a complete t thyroid test even after I requested it due to my previous history of thyroid cancer and two other doctors had already requested it. 2. Arrogance - apparently she feels a MD or in particular only she knows everything. She discredits other MD’s and myself who is a physician but yet she cannot come up with a diagnosis. Repeats same labs over and over expecting a different outcome. It is almost she is trying to force a diagnosis but her work up doesn’t agree. 3. Even though she suggested a referral to infectious disease she refused to send over the referral. Stating they are a small office and typically PCP’s due that. Whomever is the referring physician is , is who takes care of the referral . 4. Her documentation looks fabulous, however, it doesn’t match the true evaluation 5. Frankly, she distorts to cover up her actions.

The Best!
Dr. El Ramahi is the best physician! She is comprehensive, thorough, thoughtful, skilful, compassionate, and a patient advocate. She goes above and beyond for her patient. She leaves no stone unturned in trying to diagnose, treat, and help you. Her diagnostic skills as a clinician and medical decision making are excellent and unmatched. She diagnosed me after years and years of no diagnosis and after seeing multiple specialists including a couple of Rheumatologists over the years. I went from barely being able to move and bound to using assistive devices (like a walker and wheel chair) to being able to walk without any such devices due to her diagnosis of me (at initial consult actually) and treatment choice. I am grateful to her. She’s a gem & an asset to her specialty/medicine. I thankful to my primary care physician for recommending her. I have also come to learn from my PCP that even other Rheumatologists refer cases to her and sub-specialists from all networks prefer her.

No
Upcharged visit code AND an add-on code. Absolutely unnecessary as ALL of my past medical history AND current meds AND lab results were in the Community system. Do NOT recommend. May be knowledgeable but emphasis was on maximizing billing not on treating the patient. Also she knew how to drum up revenue for the hospital by ordering over $1600 of labs of which few were necessary. Welcome to corporate healthcare where she is a "new world of medicine" star. Healthcare is expensive. Absolutely. But perhaps she missed the lecture discussing the Four Pillars of Medical Ethics…
