Dr. Melvin Bullock, MD

Everyone was very professional Curtis and kind to me. They answer all my questions. I will recommend this office to all my friends and relatives.

I have been a nurse for about 30 years four of which were Gastro nursing! I knew when I was looking for a specialist I was looking for certain characteristics! The doctor had to be compassionate, personable, knowledgeable and meticulous! This search proved to be difficult until I found Dr Bullock on line!! He had amazing reviews! So I thought, “well, let’s do this!” I was absolutely impressed with him and how he healed me! Exceptionally smart young man and compassionate!! He’s the only gastroenterologist I’ll be seeing as long as I need one! He cared about my well-being and my pocketbook! I highly recommend, Dr Bullock!!??

Hands down, the best Gastroenterologist! Excellent bedside manners, informative, and kind. He took his time to listen to my concerns and provided me with information that I needed. His staff are also professional and kind. Will definitely recommend him to family and friends.

My Doctor asked him to do a camera colonoscopy to determine if I was BLEEDING INTERNALLY. I did weekend preparations for a Monday appt. using two sets of emailed instructions that were contradictory. Furthermore there were no instructions to stop IRON pills. He was absent on Monday so his office lady tested me. Before the test I explained that my fecal matter was liquid but BLACK. Obviously this is a problem for a camera. The office folks tried to get in touch with him, and finally reached My Doctor , who said to continue. 3 or 4 days later, I called about results. My Doctor called and said he "would TRY to get him to call with results". Several more days passed and I left a harsh message on the machine and My Doctor called and said the results were OK. Later, I checked WEB MD and read many pages that said to discontinue iron pills a week before this procedure.

Dr. Bulloch has shown extreme professionalism and compassion for me and my husband who are both relatively new patients in his office. We have been patients at a large GI group practice as well as a solo practitioner over the past 15 years and had difficulty reaching someone to speak with to scheudle and appointment. My husband had an emergency endocosopy in the hospital by one of the physicians from the large group practice and was treated well by the physician. When I called to schedule his post-op follow up they had no record of my husband though he was an existing patient. After waiting on hold and multiple transers with no success I decided to have my husband seen by Dr. Bullock because I have had only positve experiences with him and his staff.

As a fellow clinician I was unimpressed by his bedside manner and what appeared to be apathy. Decent amount of knowledge on how to approach my issue but was not personable. When someone is sticking a scope down your throat you 1)want them to be competent and 2) at least expect them to seem to care a little bit. He's got number one but needs to work on number two.

Best doctor I have seen! Did not have to wait very long and when I saw him he was extremely caring and took his time with me. I have suffered from my condition for years and I am confident that with the help of Dr. Bullock I am now on the right track. Highly recommend? him!

Great visit!

Dr. Bullock performed a procedure for which I had to call multiple times to receive the results and then request that his staff follow up with him for a plan post procedure. As a clinician myself, I found this to be unprofessional and quite frankly - ridiculous. I would not recommend Dr. Bullock to anyone seeking a professional physician.

Horriable doctor. I did not feel confident at all leaving his office. The appointment was a complete waste of my time. He didn't sound confident or knowledgeable at all and kept yeah " yeahhhh like" and really gave me no knowledge. His office is near impossible to actually get a hold of. He was suppose to write a script and never did. I called back and the staff said they would remind him. I still never got it. I haven't been able to get through on the phone for the past two days

Absolutely satisfied with Dr. Bullocks care and professionalism. He's very thorough when it comes to the right course of treatment, and will follow up with you. I would definitely recommend him to family and Freinds.

Dr Bullock has great bedside manner and a awesome doctor

Would never go back to that "doctor" again. He seemed bored and I could hear him chatting and laughing outside the room for several minutes before even bothering to come in. Barely examined me except for him to say "oh yeah (comes over with no stethoscope or light) say ah". He wrote me a script and that was it. Felt like he didn't listen to my concerns and that he was uninterested in his work.

After my last doctor retired, I was so thankful to find Dr. Bullock. He fully addressed my issues and past medical problems. Very easy to talk to, very open and honest. I highly recommend him!

Thorough and personal.

I would recommend Dr. Bullock to my whole family, in fact I did. He is thorough and that means a lot in a world where most doctor's I've been to have not been.
