I saw Dr. Parent for 2 years she failed to diagnose my IBD. She said the symptoms I had were due to constipation. I was 14 at the time she failed to do any lab work or any further tests other than feeling my stomach and asking about my symptoms. I would STRONGLY advice to get a second opinion.

I've been seeing Dr. Parent for at least 5yrs. During that time, she's found solutions for my HTN (some meds don't work for me), referred me to various MD's for specialty care. She's always up on her research. I would highly recommend her. She jokes around, but not when it comes to treatment.

I had a terrible experience with Dr Parent at an introductory consult. Her tone was that of a bully. She refused to let me explain any relevant aspects of my medical history by snapping "Stop acting like an attorney." (I am a retired attorney). Her tone was belittling/abrasive. She wanted to dispute my description of a post mastectomy lump location, and cut me off dismissively. When I did not join her practice, she has refused to return a $250 annual membership fee, and tried to cash my check.
