It was my first appointment with Dr Nelson, and I brought a host of challenges for her. She went above and beyond any other doctor by spending adequate time for our appointment until she fully understood all the problems I was having. She was a very good listener, and she took it upon herself to reach out to my other doctors to seek additional information regarding my conditions. Based on my experience with her she is very competent in her field.

As a physician who has been treated by Dr Nelson and seen many of her patients I can highly recommend her, however, I hope you see someone else as she has a very full schedule for routine follow up. For sick patients she always makes time. She is one of the most thorough, careful, knowledgeable physicians I know.

Dr. Nelson is an excellent rheumatologist. She is also a kind and compassionate person. Dr Nelson has treated my sister and myself for spondylitis. She has been insightful and has helped me to improve my condition by 50%.

Dr Nelsen has been very aggressive at trying to find a treatment that will work for me as my RA is not your textbook case. Whenever I have a joint flare she gets me right in for an injection. Very concerned with my comfort.
