Not good.
Not good. Not best practices in clinical judgment. Very in and out bedside manner. Got a bill without resolution of my issue.

Dr. Voutsalath is a fantastic provider. She always listens to all my concerns at the time of the apt. She answers and explains all of my questions during the visit. I never feel like she is rushing to see me. She is caring and concerned. Dr. Voutsalath is a great family medicine doctor, I am very happy to have established care with such a great provider.

My wife and I had separate appointments with Dr. Voutsalath. The doctor saw my wife for about 5 minutes, acted rushed, and offered a couple prescriptions (my wife declined). Wife was not pleased. I thought my wife might have been overreacting. I then saw the doctor the next week for a different reason and the doctor appeared rushed, said she could only see me for one specific thing that day (I had specifically asked about two medical issues when I booked), and generally had poor bedside manner.

I chose Dr. V after careful consideration of several criteria I preferred: female, DO, proficiency with dermatological issues. I'm a very healthy Sr citizen, rarely NEED a doctor, so limited Family Practice hours to accommodate Skin Clinic hours were not of concern, until I needed an appt. 2.5 MONTHS wait? But I was sick then! It's been a year, I called again to get an appt. was on hold 20 min. (Not doctors fault), and decided right then, to switch. She WAS very helpful with a skin issue.

I have been near two years with what I surmise to be envenomation from a Brown Recluse spider. She could not assess my situation because my rashes and symptoms are complex. Though she asked me if anyone had biopsied the wound (which is still present) and I said "No", even she did not biopsy and just threw prednisone at me and now I have to wait another month for the steroids to clear and I can be assessed by a real dermatologist. A waste of money. Unfit. I would not recommend for dermatology.

I made and appointment and was seen by Dr Voutsalath, she seemed very abrupt almost rude, I asked her if I could ask a question pertaining to my health, I had received my 9 health fair results, and had questions (I was unable to let her know it had to do with health fair, she cut me off and replied she would ONLY see me for what the appointment was made for and nothing else. I would not recommend her to anyone. The total in office visit might have lasted 7 minutes.

As a nurse, I feel she is excellent at explaining the treatment plan. I recently had some moles removed, and she responded to me with the results in a timely fashion. The staff is also very friendly. I do recommend this provider. The only reason I didn't give her five stars is because I have known her less than a year; still developing the doctor-patient relationship.
