Excellent doctors and staff. The nurses were very helpful, cheerful and empathetic. Second appointment with Dr Shive. She was assisted by two others. All of those woman were great and are to be recognized. Another 10 for UCI derm

Due to my many heath concerns, I see quite a few doctors at UCI but I have to say that Dr. Shive is at the top of the list. I've been seeing her since she was a fellow resident and she is absolutely the best.

It was tough getting to the person who schedules the MOHS procedure. After three days of calling and leaving a message, I was finally called back. Other than that...........VERY HAPPY!

Dr. Shive is exceptional and seems to genuinely care about the patient's health and well being. All Doctors and Staff are courteous and always in good spirits. The facility was beautiful and clean. My visit was complete and efficient. I couldn't have have a better experience.

I was not happy with the outcome of my surgery. I had a fellow sew up my wound and it doesn't look at all what I was expecting and they did not tell me that it would look this way. It would have been nice to be prepared. So and also the fellow was getting direction from Dr. Shive. I would have much rather had Dr. Shive sewn up my wound. She was making me a fellow redo it. So obviously there was a problem. So I'm not happy.

Drs Shive and Zachary kept me informed and asked several times about my comfort level. They even laughed at my jokes, such as they were. Waiting time was minimal and the nurse took time to thoroughly explain aftercare, even writing some explanatory notes on the take-home material. I never had a reason to feel nervous or anxious.

Everyone was exceedingly kind and caring. Especially impressed that Dr. Shive came & got me so I could view the solar eclipse. Nurses {staff name removed} were so nice to me. Really feel like I was getting great treatment medically & emotionally. Not an easy day, but these people made me comfortable. Dr. Golbari called me the day after and the next day to see how I was doing. So appreciated.
