She’s a horrible human being as well as a horrible doctor. My 22-year-old daughter went in and left in tears. She is a cold detached dismissive individual

Very rushed visit
She was fine the first couple times I saw her but on my last visit(annual exam) I barely spoke to her and she was in and out of the room in literally 2 minutes.

Patient or Dr. Oppenheim for 12 years
Dr. Melissa Oppenheim is a brilliant gynecologist. She is an outstanding professional while remaining compassionate and truly cares for her patients. I have seen her countless times for my well visits and she delivered my son via C section, her demeanor and bed side manner is amazing. And to this day she makes every visit personable and pleasant. Hands down the best OBGYN in Long Island!

12 Week Pregnant- OB/GYN visit
Waited about an hour for my 12 week OB:GYN appointment. This didn’t help but the doctor’s bedside manner is what really put me off- she comes in and does not even acknowledge the wait, just hands me a paper and said blood test is fine. Then she realized we had never even met and goes “oh have we met before? Is this our first time?” It was clear she did not know her patients or care to know them as she rushed this meeting- did not make me feel comfortable or tell me what I could expect this coming month for my first pregnancy, did not ask me any questions about my health or if I had any concerns etc. I asked some questions but she just gave curt bare minimum responses. I will make sure to only try to get appointments with my selected doctor, who is night/day different though they’re in the same practice; or at least make sure never to make an appointment with Dr. Oppenheim moving forward.

Dr Oppenheim is a kind, caring and excellent doctor. I've never felt rushed. On the contrary I feel she gives you her full attention and really listens.

Dr Oppenheim is great but the office staff are rude and unprofessional. The Dr. have many complain about them (not from me only) and do nothing.

Dr. Oppenheim was my doctor for almost 15 years. She was attentive to every detail and thorough. I trust her with my life. Had I not moved, I would still be her patient today.
