Dr. Melissa Kwon, MD

I have had a great experience with Dr. Kwon. She is kind and responsive. I have been dealing with chronic illness for three years, and she has been helpful in providing care and referrals and dealing with disability paperwork. I'm grateful to have her as my primary care physician.

Want a doctor with all the concern of a burnt out DMV worker just punching the clock? Dr. Kwon is just that doctor. She clearly only got into the field for the title and the income because she clearly does not like people. She is an absolute waste of a human being. In my 2 appointments with her, she never even got off her stool to come within 6 feet of me. She simply didn't care and clearly did not want to even be there. Both times, I presented with clear, persistent indicators of a now-diagnosed autoimmune disorder. Both times, she dismissed them and told me just to ice my painful joints and try a cream for the other symptoms. Her apathy was further exemplified when, at the 15-minute mark, she simply stood up and walked out of the room without even a parting word or shred of concern, and then walked away. Totally classless. I am so glad I found another doctor. But I am still angry that I wasted 8 months when I could have been getting needed treatment.
