I saw Dr Dewar after my previous PCP left Kaiser, she was accepting new patients. Dr Dewar mocked my concerns and refused to renew an Rx from the previous Kaiser doc. She told me I did not understand my body was "most likely" in menopause and told me to go off the med cold turkey, saying the pharmacy puts the "taper" sticker on everything. I ended up with anemia, tinnitus and ear problems, and lost all of my fitness. Found a Kaiser gyno who was horrified at her no-taper instructions and overstepping into gyno when she clearly had no clue. Still having ear and fitness problems 5 years later. Also, still no menopause. AVOID THIS DOCTOR.

very smart doc. wide ranging knowledge, thorough, kind, maybe a little conservative with aggressive treatment, if you want that just ask and she will tell you the radical treatments you probably dont want. always ask for specialist referrals at Kaiser. take advantage of education classes.
