I did not get a call from this office after I was referred by my endocrinologist and then my PCP. I called the office and I was told that because my Creatinine level was 2.5, I will not usually be seen until 2 months. At my appointment, I waited 45 minutes inside the exam room and I finally had to ask the front desk if they have forgotten about me. In 2 minutes Dr. Barrido showed up. She requires her patient to wear mask or she will not see patient. However, the rest of the staff in the clinic are not required to wear one.! Dr. Barrido knows her stuff and a good educator. I just felt that she was rushing and did not want to have conversations outside her questions. I have a follow up appointment scheduled and I’ll see whether my initial impressions were right.

Dr Barrio is patient explain everything concerning your condition in detail. Great personality and she really cares about you as a person. I would recommend her because of her experience and years of service.

Dr Barrido and her staff have taken very good care of me for some time now. She explains the progression of my disease at each visit, my options and the treatment plan she has for me. She has my confidence.

This will be another "welcomed" year to be in the "trusted" care of Dr. Barrido. She and her staff are awesome! She's always pleasant and very informative with each visit. She explains in detail, your current progress that day. If she makes a change in your medications for example, she will explain in detail the reasons why & how it will or will not affect you! I learn something new every visit!

Nervous about a first time visit but Dr. Barrido was very thorough and helpful and clear in her explanations.

Overall it was a good visit. We got to where we needed to be.... I don’t believe she was ready for my appointment. Meaning, she didn’t review my test results and health information before hand.

I am very satisfied with my visit.

It was a relatively short visit. Dr. Barrido reviewed test results which were, for the most part, acceptable. Her only concern was the amount of edema in my legs and feet. She has prescribed 1 water pill in the morning and 1/2 in the late afternoon/early evening. My only concern with his is having to get up repeatedly during the night to use the bathroom. She also talked about this protocol helping me to lose 1.5-2 ponds per day (which would be water weight) but to call the office if I lost 5 pounds or more per day. I will see what happens, but this kind of weight loss concerns me.

Dr Barrido was very efficient, very knowledgeable and very forthright! I really like her and trust her.

Regular transplant follow up

She is always in a hurry, doesn’t look at your bloodwork until right in the room with you yet wants it done three weeks in advance, and always tries to override what your other doctors have told you about a medication they have you on instead of dealing with that doctor herself! She gets upset if you try to question her or discuss something for clarity. Others like her but I don’t, so I don’t think I get her best job of medical care

Dr. Barrido is very thorough and competent. Takes time to explain things in a way that's easy to understand. Every once in a while there's a backup which causes a bit of a wait, but not bad.

Short wait time, both in reception and in office. She goes over your labs with you every time.
