Dr. Mehrdad Golzad, MD

1. 25 minutes of form-filling2. Initial evaluations by a medical assistant (she was nice)3. More waiting - 15 minutes4. Physician's Assistant 'examined' me for 5 minutes. Said she did not have my ER discharge papers, but they'd been emailed to this doctor the day before. After a couple of 'tests', she told me that the doctor (Golzad) would come in a few minutes to consult with me.5. When Golzad came in the room, this was our entire interaction: Golzad: 'Do you have any questions for me?' Me: 'Uh, I don't know...' Golzad: 'Call us if you do. Nice to meet you.' And that was that. 5 seconds. 6. I would never go back to this practice. Golzad was unprofessional at best. The exam room was filthy (I have photos). The ONLY reason I went to this neurologist was because the appointment had been made for me by an attorney.

So the doctor is ok. Nothing bad but nothing extraordinary. He’s a funny pretty nice guy. Unfortunately his office is extremely unprofessional and rude and is constantly making mistakes at the expense of your time. If you do book, Do yourself a big favor and verify multiple times. At least 3 times prior to your appt. The 3 hour wait is normal according to them but what’s not is the lack of accountability when they cancel and switch appts on you last minute after losing work hours to make it to your appointment and then they have the audacity to act like ghetto fools when you call them out on their mistake. Happened to me more than once. By the last time I obviously lost patience and hope and the ghetto nature of their true selves poured out of the beams of their soul. If you have all the time in the world then go for it but if you value your time and expect the courtesy from your doctor to the do the same for you. Seek elsewhere. There are other neurologist that are better staffed.

I have been a patient for many years and I never leave disappointed. Dr Golzad and his team are caring and understanding. They look to help their patients any way they can. I have suffered migraines for over 30 years. Dr Golzad is always trying to help in finding a cure for me. His workers also are great especially Rafaella. I have Express scripts long term prescription plan. What a nightmare after months of trying to get my prescription corrected and filled she never gave up. In such a busy office she showed me how she cared. Thank you all for the hard work and dedication in helping me get some relief.
