Helene Barr, I received the same experience. I called to get a refill for my high blood pressure medicine, and I received a message from the pharmacist stating that I was no longer his patient. When I called the office, I found the line was disconnected with no forwarding number. I am due for surgery next week. He should have provided his patience with amble to to let us know he is no longer in business. I feel bad for the people with life threatening illness. This is totally uncaring and unprofessional. I wonder if this is legal.

I called my pharmacy to get refills from my Dr. I received an e-mail from my pharmacy that they cancelled my order. So I called my Dr's office to see why I didn't get the refill & this is what I got when I called "the number has changed, the new number is unknown". How does a Dr. just close his door don't they take some kind of oath.
