Office staff was downright rude. Many patients were moved to this physician due to another medical group closing. While I understand it's a lot to handle, keep in mind how the patients feel!

The best PCP yet
Dr Megin Mcgrath at Optum has been a breeze of fresh air for my 80's plus self and wife. After our experiencing two other PCPs since our move to Florida from Chicago, we have finally here foundan oasis of health care where ones can see our primary physician in just one day when needed (and not just a nurse)...where one is encouraged to call her office before dialing 911 in most cases...where there is always sincere concern and respect for our expressed needs, with impressive expertise backed by wisdom and insight and competence. It has been hard to believe. The office staff is also carefully picked; they listen and respond, have no scripts to read.

I had a meeting with Dr. McGrath.
I was most comfortable with Dr. McGrath. She approved my health meds, then moved away to her current location. The problem is that she ordered my last med supply. Now, with her gone, I cannot get the specific meds without her ordering them for me. She does not use email, so I cannot get to her. Any ideas?

Full of herself, ugh!!
She wrote at least two things in my file that were completely UNTRUE!! I am NOT chemically dependent on my lorazepam!! I take it 2 or 3 times per month at most. Before I lost my home of nearly 5 years, I took it probably once or twice every two or three months... Am I also chemically dependent on ibuprofen which I also take a few times a month? She also DECIDED that I do NOT 'need' bladder physical therapy despite the fact that my urologist and I had already discussed it prior to my EVER meeting Dr. McGrath!! If she doesn't 'approve' a service I don't receive it!! Um, hi I am an adult who doesn't need her permission to lead the direction of my own health care!! Just because I have not discussed my lifelong bladder problems with her shouldn't change the trajectory of what another medical provider who treats me decides is best for me!! What utter NONSENSE!! To be honest I saw a broucher about the pelvic floor and bladder physical therapy in the urologist office and asked about it. WTH?

Where did upu go, dr Mcgrath
She is sensitive and knowledgeable. What a breath if fresh air to deal with a physician who advocates for you as an individual. She was thorough& respectful and the finishing touch is that she would call you personally to follow up or provide you with testing or lab results even if they were good results. Loved her... Now only if I could find her new location. Her replacements, yes plural, couldn't hold a candle to her.

Best doctor in years!
She is compassionate, knowledgeable, responsive and the best doctor I have had in years! She left the max Health practice earlier this, no warning or information from the practice. I would return as her patient in a heartbeat if I could find her! Wish her well whenever she is! Have 2 friends who was also going to her and would lime to reconnect.

Clinical & Unqualified
This doctor saw me less than 15 minutes for a first appointment. She hardly let me speak. Her staff insisted I owed a co-pay when I did not. I never returned I was so put off.

I do not recommend this office that is corporate ran. The facility is a joke. I have had my appointments rescheduled several times due to office mess up. I have been coming here for 20 years with Dr. Perez she was wonderful. This new office is an provider is a joke. Not been seen for a common cold because the doctor is afraid to see you is ridiculous after being Covid tested. I don’t see this place surviving.

Run! This is a cartoon character pretending to be a doctor. You will no longer have a voice in your care. Was on sleep aids for 10 yrs. Doctor retired. Doctor McGrath said no to that and told me to “train myself to want to sleep when I see a bed like we want to pee when we see a toilet”. And don’t you dare question anything.

3 strikes you are out!! First visit I waited an hour and a half to see her. Second time was a tele med where she kept trying to convince me to get the Covid vaxx. Her tactics were to tell me her DIL got the vaxx and “SHES A DOCTOR! “. Today I called the office bc I have pink eye and asked her to call in some drops. After some Q &A with Brianna who answered the phone she said they had no openings until July and I would have to go to an urgent care! I told Brianna this was my third negative encounter with the office and to please let someone know. Instead she hung up on me!

My doctor had resigned unfortunately and his replacement was Dr McGrath. She is an absolute fruitloop. After one appointment Dr McGrath decided that she would simply not prescribe something that has helped me for nearly 10 years. It’s not an addictive substance. Her explanation was that it “interferes with your REM cycle”. This sounded like hippy talk to me but I generally go the natural route when I can so I said sure let’s try without it. Prescription aside, I thought her explanation was weird and the fact that this drug helped me maintain friendships, meet my wife and get promoted 3 times was not a factor to her. My REM cycle was her issue... fast forward 3 months and I can’t get her to refill any prescription. As a matter of fact, she doesn’t respond at all. Her office takes a message and then disappears. I have no choice but to get a new doctor because I simply can’t get a hold of her unless I want to set an appointment for 3 months out.

This doctor is everything you expect and want from any doctor. She gives you the time and more to explain your problems. Very professional, caring and goes that bit further for her patients. Dr McGrath would often call..if needed out of hours to check up on her patients..priceless.
