Dr. Bird and the nurse made sure I was as comfortable as I could be during my visit and were very patient when inconveniences occurred. They were both pleasant to be around.

This clinic kept gaslighting me!
I have had the worst experience with this provider and the rest of the clinic people. They've gaslit me multiple times, and I'm so sick of it! First, they called me twice to change the time of my surgery, but when I arrived the next day, they acted like I was crazy and had no record of changing my surgery time. Then, I was told that due to my severe allergic reaction to the adhesive would be documented, but it isn't anywhere I can see. Third, at my in-person follow up, I called because I was running late due to traffic, but by the time they got my message, the doctor had left for the day. Then, calling to reschedule, I was told I could have a later afternoon appointment, but then I go into mychart, and the appointment is for 8:30am! I called, and was told that because I 'no-showed' to my last appointment, they weren't going to offer me the later time, even though the phone call I had just gotten offered me that time. Work on your accountability skills!

Long story short, I am a FTM patient who used to see Dr. Bird. Legacy medical is a for profit facility. As soon as your health care doesn't qualify, or you can't pay for treatment, they dump you. I had a double mastectomy done june of 2018. 4 months later they stopped contracting with OHP. I was about to go to an appointment, when I was last minute told they no longer take my healthcare. So I was left to figure out things for myself, just after major surgery. The staff did NOTHING to help or guide me . They literally just stopped communicating. These guys only want money. Recently, Legacy started contracting with OHP again, so I figured I'd give them another try. They count rescheduling as a cancellation. Half of my "cancellations" were emergencies or THEIR fault. At 19 they stop seeing you. They police patients with little care to how they are doing. Dr bird took over my HRT, limiting it to 2 weeks to FORCE me to go in for bloodwork. That is not your job. The patient decides when.

Extremely condescending and rude for a basic question about medication. Disrespected my partner and I and treated us like second class citizens. Overall a very bad attitude. Only doctor I’ve ever hear say “Okay, whatever.” to a patient. Avoid if you like being treated with respect as a patient.
