A Caring and Thorough Physician
I never imagined needing to consult with an infectious disease physician until it became necessary when I was diagnosed with a virulent staff infection in late October 2024. Following two surgeries to clean out the infection which had located itself on a recently completed hip revision surgery, Dr. Seenivasan guided me through 10 weeks of in-home infusions of antibiotics via a pic line to continue to fight the infection. With the help of weekly blood tests performed by a nurse from the Visiting Nurse Assn. followed by weekly visits to Dr. Seenivasan, her care and assurances that we would continue to aggressively combat the infection helped mine and my wife's confidence level to rise with each appointment. I am still under her care using oral antibiotics and will continue to do so long as Dr. Seenivasan deems it necessary.

Outstanding. Exceptionally excellent. A great doc
A great doctor. I have no words in my vocabulary to praise her excellence, her professional competence, her sympathetic care, compassion, and her willingness to accept challenges. I am alive today only because of her timely care. She started treating me when everyone else had lost hope. A rare gem. I always pray to God to give her a very very long life so that she continues to serve the suffering humanity.

Dr. Meena Seenivasan
This is a synopsis of my year and a half long journey with Dr. Meena Seenivasan. I can only give praises to her. I was in very bad shape, Doctors in the hospital recommended getting my affairs in order. While in the hospital, I met Dr. Meena Seenivasan. She began treatments immediately. Frankly, I owe my life to her. She stuck with me; expertly monitoring and treating above and beyond. My case was very complicated and difficult. Her collaboration with other doctors was detrimental in successfully leading to my treatment and recovery. Dr. Meena is 'The shining example of what means to be an effective healthcare professional and a great human being'!Thank you Dr. Meena :)

She is intelligent, compassionate, ethical and willing to be a partner in the treatment of patients. Dr. SEENIVASAN listens and explains everything. She also takes her time with me and always encourages me to see other doctors in areas that she does not treat. She is everything I look for in a doctor…

I've been dealing with an infection in my sinus/maxilla for many years and have been on 16 courses of antibiotics over several years. Infection always returns. My ENT and Oral Surgeon recommended I see an infectious disease specialist. She saw me 3 times and listened intently. In the end she said there is no infection, ordered 90 days of antibiotics at 1/2 dose, because she said: "You think it makes you feel better" and said I should see a therapist for psychosomatic pain and anxiety. I was furious. A few weeks later another Dr ordered an Indium Scan and it was discovered that there is infection in my naso & oropharynx. I faxed the report to her office. I have yet to receive a call from her office with an apology. I've never had any doctor treat me with such disrespect.

This doctor gave my son a shot that he did not need because she didn't bother to read his history properly. Never going back there.
