She was the OB on call who delivered my baby. I had a retained placenta so she did a D&C, she did an ultrasound in the OR and said she got it all. Well, she didn’t. She left a very large, significant amount of placenta in me which turned necrotic and gave me a bad infection. Due to her negligence, I had to have a hysterectomy 3 weeks later. I would NOT ever go to Dr. Silva.

She was VERY rushed when delivering the exam. There were also things she didn't do that I had done on other (thorough) exams that I had to ask her to do. When I said, "Are you going to check for polyps?" (as I have always had done during my PAP exams since college) she said, "I can, but your PCP should have done that." I said, "My PCP said you should cover that since it's part of a well-woman's exam." She was flippant about it and finished the ENTIRE exam (breast, vagina, etc.) in 10 mins. No.
