Made appointment in December for earliest appt landed on 1/16. Called to confirm 1/16 appt on 1/7 and they couldn't find my appt. The next available date February/March. Attempted to make appt for Feb/Mar shared insurance information was told that they are not accepting UHC/Medicare patients. This practice is listed in-network and accepting new patients. After a move from Dallas to Sherman wanted to find a new Dr. I wish practice had told me back in Dec that they would not accept UHC/Medicare even though Doctors are listed in Network and accepting new patients. I have wasted the past month assuming I had appt. Don't just take my appt off the books and get your name out of the UHC network. My personal health is certainly more important. With these types of standard practices in making appts what kind of cluster is going on in the exam rooms/labs. I believe I dodged a bullet.
