I have only good things to say about the care I received from Dr. Costedio and her team. From the first time I met her following my cancer diagnosis, I knew that I would be in good hands. She was always receptive to my many questions, always took the time to explain things in a manner I was able to understand.

She was very direct and informative about the procedure. I felt very comfortable with her and the way she explained everything. Would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Yes, I highly recommend her and the staff. The excellent care and kindness I received both preoperative and postoperative helped me to heal. The ordeal I went through was worrisome and painful, but Dr. Costedio got me through it and I'm forever grateful and happy to have been referred to her by another UH Emergency room Doctor.

I would most definitely recommend Dr. Costedio and her entire staff! With the issue I had, her and Kim talked in everyday terms, which put the initial office visit at ease for me as the patient! The procedure, as well as the recover I had went exactly as was described to me. During recovery I had to call the office twice for advise, which was promptly explained in laymen terms to my satisfaction. Without going overboard, her procedure was life changing! She, along with her staff are professional but down to earth. Extremely easy to talk to.

Dr.Costedio and her RN Kim Bova were outstanding and successful with my Surgery and care. They were thorough, accessible and prompt all the time. Dr. Costedio is a pleasure to work with. Her surgical skills are first rate but her interpersonal skills are even better. Even while passing on bad news, she does so in a very reassuring manner. Her appointments do not seem rushed at all, yet she stays on schedule. She is very accessible. When I have felt a need to call her office, I have answers to my questions in a very timely manner. Dr. Costedio's nurse Kim is very knowledgeable and I have confidence in her answers. If there is any question that still needs to be addressed, she will reach Dr. Costedio, and provide a very acceptable answer. I highly recommend Dr. Costedio to anyone who needs her talents.

I was with Dr. Costedio since January 2015. She is an amazing and compassionate doctor and really knows her stuff. I feel that she saved my life back in 2015, when she did a series of surgeries to correct my 10 year battle with ulcerative colitis. I was immediately better after the first surgery. When she left the clinic I was quite disappointed and I never felt I had the same level of care with any other doctor. I continued to have issues that were not being addressed. I found Dr. Costedio at University Hospital in October of 2020 and made an appt. She knew what to do. I had my surgery on February 5th and I am doing very well. She is a TOP NOTCH doctor and University Hospital should be thrilled to have a doctor with her knowledge and skill. Because of Dr. Costedio I have my life back!!

Exceptionally friendly and informative.

I suffered with Crohn’s disease most of my adult life and have talked to and treated by dozens of Colorectal specialist. Dr Costedio was far and away the best at explaining my condition and especially in answering my question. She is extremely easy to talk to with a compassion and and caring nature.

Where do I start? I love love love Dr. Costedio and Kim. I was really apprehensive about my surgery and they were there to ease my nerves and just made me feel so much better about everything. They are the absolute best. The office staff is also second to none.

Dr Costedio is one of the most thorough and compassionate physicians that I have encountered. She took the time to listen to my concerns and offered multiple approaches to my problems. She did a detailed physical exam and obtained my medical records from my previous Dr. I absolutely give Dr Costedio the highest of recommendations.

My sister is Dr. Costedio's patient and does not own a computer. She asked me to give Dr. Costedio the highest rating possible.

Dr. Costedio was great to work with. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns that I had both pre and post op. She was wonderful at explaining the procedure needed and what to expect before, during and after the surgery. Dr. Costedio was a very calming and reassuring professional during a very anxious time.
