Dr. Mayuri Joshi, MD

This is the first time I have felt to need a review about any Dr. and not for a good reason. I have visited with Dr. Joshi a couple times now and each time I leave feeling like she doesn't hear my concerns nor does she care. I'm not looking for quick fixes but I would expect when I express my concerns to a Dr. that they listen and even if its not their area of expertise refer me to someone that can help or even given me some pointers on things I can do to improve. Not tell me to just keep trying.

I have always had great experience with Dr. Joshi. I am looking for another Internist, because for the past month every time I call, I wait for 20 minutes, hang up call back wait 30 minutes, hang up call back to find out the office no longer makes appointments, it NOW goes through a Call Center. SERIOUSLY?! NO!!! That is B.S. Before when I went inside her office NO ONE was up front. Everyone was sitting behind the desk in the next room. I could see them. They knew I was waiting and NO ONE said a word. I finally spoke up after 6 minutes.

I find Dr. Joshi to be attentive and caring. She shows interest in me as an individual and is available to discuss any issue. She makes sure that we cover all items on my list that I bring with me. The nurse who did my intake and injection today was excellent. The check in person was courteous and the check out team made sure that I had all my referrals and future appointments set.

Dr. Mayuri Joshi was rude and unprofessional.

Dr. Joshi is my family member’s primary physician. We have spend 4 cumulative hours on hold with their new phone system this week alone.. When we do get an answer it is to a call center, not our doctor’s staff. Then the call center puts us on hold again to try to reach the office. Absolutely Absurd! The call center supposedly requested that the doctor’s office return our call stat. It has been 48 hours with no return call. Perhaps she is a good doctor, but she can’t possible provide quality medical care within this system.

One of the best young doctors out there. Super kind and listen to all the problems. Didn’t have to wait long either. Would recommend her to everyone.

I would say go anywhere but here. Nice young lady but certainly not qualified to work with patients without supervision. I told her I had very high blood pressure since my surgery last fall. She told me to go to Publix and use their blood pressure cuff and chart it. Really?!

Without going into all the details I would recommend using another Dr. Very disappointed. First Dr. I ever encountered that I will no longer use.
